What partnering actually costs

No sign-up fee, no monthly charge, no fee to publish a listing. EcoAfric takes a commission only when a booking completes, and payments run through Stripe so neither side is holding the other's money.

10% service deduction

A 4% booking service fee plus a 6% EcoAfric fee is retained from each completed booking.

No listing fees

Publish as many tours as you like. Editing, pausing and re-listing cost nothing.

Payout after 7 days

Released 7 days after trip completion, subject to open disputes.

Stripe Connect

Card handling and identity checks sit with Stripe, not with us.

Who we partner with

Operators who can show their work

We are looking for African-based operators, guides, lodges and community tourism projects that can evidence how they run — not just describe it.

  • Registered and operating legally in your country
  • Able to provide business, tax and insurance documentation
  • Employing local guides and staff rather than importing them
  • Running trips that do not damage the habitat or community they visit
  • Willing to be held to the EcoAfric Provider Agreement
Common questions

Partner FAQs

What does it cost to become a partner?

Nothing to join and nothing to list. EcoAfric retains a 10% service deduction on each completed booking, so the platform only earns when you do.

How long does verification take?

It depends on how complete your documents are. Your account moves from pending to verified once our team has reviewed your business registration, tax and insurance paperwork and any sustainability certifications. If something is unclear we email you rather than rejecting it silently.

Do I need a Stripe account already?

No. You create one as part of onboarding through Stripe Connect Express. Stripe handles the identity and bank verification, which is why EcoAfric never stores your payment credentials.

When do I get paid?

Payouts are released 7 days after the trip is completed, subject to any open disputes. That window covers cancellations and traveler complaints before money leaves the platform.

Can I list tours in more than one country?

Yes. Each listing carries its own destination, dates, pricing and itinerary, so a single account can cover several countries or regions.

What if I already sell through other platforms?

That is fine — there is no exclusivity requirement. You control your own availability, so you can manage capacity across channels as you see fit.

Who handles the traveler if something goes wrong?

You are responsible for delivering the experience and for local compliance, as set out in the Provider Agreement. EcoAfric handles the booking, the payment and the dispute process, and can hold a payout while a safety or fraud issue is investigated.
